Scott Hodes

Scott is an experienced legal recruiter who has worked with candidates and developed strong relationships with his clients for the past 15 years. Scott has successfully found new homes for over 100 lateral associate, Counsel and partner candidates, and prior to launching MIlestone Legal Search, Scott was a Managing Principal and Executive Committee Member for a large and respected national legal search firm where he managed a team of recruiters. Prior to his career as a legal recruiter, Scott was an associate and later a law firm partner, and practiced for nine years before making a career change. 

Scott is a proud graduate of the University of Florida and University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he obtained his JD. Scott also holds an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami. Scott is married with three children, and spends most of his non-recruiting time playing tennis, coaching youth soccer, and traveling. 

Scott is also a regular attendee and presenter at the National Associate of Law Placement (NALP) Conference, the largest legal recruiting conference in the country. He has led and moderated the following seminars at the conference:
